Happy New Year,

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself and share a few thoughts on the North Country HealthCare Foundation. My name is Marc Daniels, President of BEC Southwest, and I will serve as the North Country HealthCare Foundation Board President for the next three years.

As an Arizona native, I have a deep personal commitment to the communities and people that we serve. For over two decades BEC Southwest has been providing quality design and construction services across northern Arizona completing over 300 commercial, industrial and residential building projects. Running a successful business for over 22 years in Flagstaff has given me an understanding of the wonderful opportunities and difficult challenges facing the residents of northern Arizona. Accessible, affordable and quality healthcare has always been a top priority for me, my staff and the people and communities we serve.

My company has been actively involved with North Country HealthCare for the past 12 years. We have completed eight building projects in five communities across northern Arizona; everything from remodels to new builds. After working side by side with the incredibly talented people at North Country HealthCare, I have learned the value of what North Country brings to each of their communities; kindness, compassion and most importantly, quality healthcare for all regardless of their ability to pay.

It is more than our shared priorities that has led me to accept the challenge of being the Foundation Board President. I have deep respect and admiration for the leadership and staff of North Country HealthCare and the way in which they go about the business of delivering high quality service. They, and the organization they run, are highly efficient, effective, innovative and tough but fair; just the kind of people I like to work with.

I am excited to be a part of such a special time for North Country HealthCare and the families they serve. The Family Practice Residency Program will be truly unique and I look forward to a successful campaign. Thanks to all for your support in this
